The Village of Bayfield Marina, on the south side of the harbour is owned by the Municipality, but operated privately. There are transient slips that are open to the public to reserve, and the washrooms, and fuel pumps are also open to the public. The only area that is off limits to the general public are the docks and pathway along the water as those areas are for the customers who rent the boat slips. For safety, security, and privacy reasons, it is important that the general public does not access these areas.
